Traffic School Online Testing

Before starting the Traffic School web exam you must carefully read the instructions. Not following all steps on the instructions may result in failure of the course.

WARNING: Make sure you have registered for the program before viewing the video or accessing the exams.

IMPORTANT: Due to court restrictions, the online exam is only available in Texas, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Nevada and in certain areas of California and Louisiana.

Exams - Instructions

To see a more detailed view of each instruction simply click on the desired Step number. Please read all of the instructions before beginning the course. NOT FOLLOWING ALL STEPS MAY RESULT IN FAILURE OF THE COURSE!

Summary

Step 1 - Pick up the videotapes/DVD

  1. Visit your local participating Blockbuster Video, Randalls, or Tom Thumb store to pick up the course.
  2. The store will issue you videotapes/DVD and an Instruction Card.
  3. The instruction card will instruct you on how to contact eDriving and register for the eDriving course.

Step 2 - Register for the Program

  1. Please visit www.edriving.com, click on the 'register' button and follow the Instructions, or call USI at (713) 827-8887 or (800) 505-5095 to register for the course and have the following information available:
    *Note: Online registration may not be available for all states
  2. Have your Store/Company ID ready.
  3. Have your driver's license ready. Do not proceed until registration is complete.
    (For the Defensive Driving/Traffic School course you will also need your ticket information ready.)
  4. Assistance for Hearing-Impaired: (800) 735-2988. Ask TDD Agent to call (800) 505-5095.

Step 3 - Watch the Video/DVD

  1. Insert the first videotape/DVD into your VCR/DVD player and watch it until the host tells you to stop. Once you have stopped the tape/DVD access the network.
  2. After each section you must return to the your computer to take an exam. You CANNOT watch all sections straight through and then take all of the exams at the very end of the course.
  3. The course is split into sections. On most sections you will be required to take a designated break.

Step 4 - Taking Exams

  1. In order to bring up an exam visit www.edriving.com.
  2. There is a time limit for answering the questions. Please try to answer each question quickly. If you fail to submit your response within the question time limit you will be alerted and the question will be marked incorrect. Continued failure to answer questions within the question time limit could result in course failure.
  3. After you have selected your answer click on the "submit" button to record your answer.

Step 5 - Completion of the Course

  1. The date of completion on your certificate will be the day you complete the course, NOT the day you begin.
  2. You can obtain your result for the course by returning the videos/DVD to the place of rental. Results will not be given over the phone.
  3. Tapes/DVDs must be returned to the place of rental. The customer is responsible for any missing items, and the certificate of completion will be withheld until these items are returned or compensation is made. Additionally any late fees must be paid prior to receiving a completion certificate.
